Pakistan claimed a 14-run victory over the West Indies in the first match of the three-game T20 series. Batting first, Pakistan set a target of 179 runs.

In response, the West Indies managed 164 for 7 in their 20 overs.

For the West Indies, Johnson Charles and Jeavor Royal both scored 35 runs, while Jason Holder remained unbeaten on 30.

From Pakistan’s bowling side, Mohammad Nawaz took 3 wickets, while Saim Ayub picked up 2. Shaheen Afridi and Sufiyan Muqeem took one wicket each.

Saim Ayub was named Player of the Match for his all-round performance, scoring 57 runs and taking 2 wickets.
