Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Secretary-General Ahsan Iqbal on Monday asked Prime Minister Imran Khan to reveal details of the ‘threatening letter’ he waved in the air during his address to the Pakistan Tehreek-i-(PTI) Insaf’s ‘Amr Bil Maroof’ public rally in Islamabad yesterday (Sunday, March 27, 2022).
In an interview with the media, he claimed that the prime minister was inciting ‘hysteria’ by making such allegations.
He reminded the prime minister that the time for ‘deceit’ and ‘fraud’ was past. “If you don’t have the backing of 172 MNAs, no matter how many resources you employ, you can’t stop the no-trust move,” he stated, adding, “A player who doesn’t perform does not deserve to be on the ground; rather, he should practice in the nets.” Go practice in the nets, Imran.”
