Pakistan reports 186 new cases of coronavirus with 1 death

According to data issued by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Monday morning, Pakistan reported 186 new coronavirus infections and one virus-related death in the last 24 hours (Sunday).

According to NCOC figures, the death toll has now risen to 30,346, representing a ratio of 2.0 percent, after the inclusion of 1 new death.

After executing 28,159 tests, the positivity ratio of coronavirus cases in Pakistan has reached 0.66 percent, with 186 new coronavirus cases emerging in the last 24 hours. It brings the overall number of instances to 1,524,086.

In the country, there are 8,314 current cases, with 420 people in serious condition.

In the last 24 hours, 110 additional instances were recovered, bringing the overall number of recovered cases to 1,485,426 with a 97.5 percent recovery rate.

Punjab

Punjab, the country’s most populous province, has recorded 53 new cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of illnesses in the province to 504,894 with 941 active cases. One additional patient died of coronavirus in Punjab, bringing the total number of deaths to 13,552. So far, 490,401 individuals in Punjab have recovered from the virus, with 77 additional recoveries reported.

Sindh

Sindh has added 73 new cases in the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 574,803 with 6,531 active cases. There were no new cases of the fatal disease reported, bringing the total death toll in Sindh to 8,095. So far, 560,177 individuals in the province have recovered from the virus, with no new recoveries reported.

In the previous 24 hours, 39 additional cases have been reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, bringing the total number of patients to 218,937, with 619 active cases. The province reported no new virus-related deaths, bringing the total number of deaths to 6,315. With the addition of six fresh recoveries, the province now has a total of 212,003 individuals who have recovered from the illness.

Balochistan

Balochistan has no new cases, bringing the total to 35,469 with 11 ongoing cases. The province reported no new deaths, bringing the total number of deaths to 378. So far, 35,080 individuals have recovered from the virus throughout the province, with 1 new recovery.

Islamabad

In the previous 24 hours, 15 additional cases have been reported in Islamabad, bringing the total number of illnesses to 135,038 with 132 active cases. The death toll now stands at 1,023, with no fresh deaths confirmed in the Federal Capital. With 22 fresh recoveries, the total number of recovered patients in the federal capital now stands at 133,883.

Jammu and Kashmir Azad Jammu and Kashmir Azad Jammu and Kashmir Aza

In the last 24 hours, 5 new cases were reported in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, bringing the total number of cases to 43,249, including 28 active cases. The death toll remained at 792 as no further deaths were reported. There were three fresh recoveries in the AJK, bringing the total number of people who have recovered from the virus to 42,429 so far.

Gilgit-Baltistan

Gilgit-Baltistan added 1 new case in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 11,696 instances with 52 active cases. The death toll in the province remains at 191 with no fresh deaths reported. The number of individuals who have recovered from the deadly disease has now reached 11,453.
