Lahore Board puts QR codes on roll number slips to prevent cheating in Inter exams.
The Lahore Board has issued roll number slips to candidates for the Intermediate Part-2 examination, reported The Asian Mirror on Wednesday.
To prevent cheating, QR codes have also been put on the Intermediate roll number slips.
According to Controller of Examination Zahid Mian, Intermediate Part-2 exams will start from April 29 and this year, 183,000 candidates will appear in the exam.
Private candidates can download roll number slips from the Lahore Board website, the Controller of Examinations said.
Zahid Mian said regular candidates will get roll number slips from their institutions.
He said QR codes proved helpful in preventing the entry of fake candidates in exam centers.
