Apart from assessing global and regional landscapes, the conference will reaffirm its members’ long-standing solidarity and support for the people of Palestine and Jammu & Kashmir.
It will reaffirm its commitment to combating rising Islamophobia, as well as debate ways for combating the consequences of climate change, vaccination inequities, and loss of progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals.
The Conference will examine and evaluate the dire human rights and humanitarian situation in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. On the fringes of the conference, the OIC Contact Group on Jammu and Kashmir will hold a ministerial meeting.
The Ministerial meeting will review the decisions made during the OIC-Extraordinary CFM’s Session in Islamabad last December to address the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan.
