Prime Minister Imran Khan will address a public meeting in the district of Kurram in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) today (Friday).
The governor and chief minister of the state of Pakistan, as well as a few federal ministers, will accompany the prime minister on his visit.
PM Imran has been touring different districts of KP and Punjab to establish his popularity among the people since the opposition tabled a no-trust motion against the government in the National Assembly (NA).
He was just in Swat a few days ago, where he spoke to a large gathering. Prior to that, he spoke to large crowds in Hafizabad, Dir, and Mailsi, drawing the ire of Pakistan’s Election Commission (ECP), which issued him notifications.
The prime minister contested the issuance of these notifications in the Islamabad High Court yesterday (Thursday, March 17, 2022). (IHC).
