Ancient copies of the Holy Quran stolen from Quetta’s Jabal-e-Noor.
In an unfortunate incident, almost 120 ancient copies of the Holy Quran were stolen from Jabale Noorul Quran in Quetta, reported The Asian Mirror on Friday.
Unknown persons broke into the building, broke the glass of the showcases and took away the 120 rare copies of the Holy Quran.
A case was registered at the Barori Police Station on the complaint of the in charge of Jabale Noorul Quran.
According to the FIR, unknown persons broke the glass of the showcases and stole Holy Quran copies.
The Quetta’s hill, known as Jabal-e-Noor, or “Mountain of Light,” has been visited by hundreds of thousands of people since two brothers turned it into a shrine for Islam’s holy book, some copies of which are up to 600 years old.
