Pakistani mountaineer Samar Khan scales South America’s highest peak.
Pakistani female mountaineer Samar Khan successfully scaled Mount Aconcagua, the highest peak in South America, reported The Asian Mirror on Friday.
The peak is located in Argentina at a height of 6,961 meters.
Mountaineer Samar Khan achieved this milestone amid challenging weather accompanied by strong winds.
The adventurer thanked Almighty Allah for granting her the opportunity for achieving this success.
She said that she won this honour with the blessings of Almighty Allah and prayers of her parents, relatives, and well-wishers.
“I started my climb with an amazing team of nine strong women at 4:15 AM and reached the summit of the highest peak in South America at 2:00 PM.”
“The climb was full of challenges, with one of the biggest being the extreme cold and harsh winds of the Andes. However, with Allah’s grace and your prayers, I successfully completed the climb,” she wrote.
It is important to mention here that Mount Aconcagua is the highest peak outside Asia.
