Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi politely urged the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to take note of the opposition’s admission to horse-trading on Thursday.
“The opposition is openly admitting to horse-trading today.” In a statement, the foreign minister stated, “I humbly beg that the Election Commission take notice of this.”
“No one can stop the elected representatives who have placed their conscience on sale,” Qureshi said, adding that every elected representative was aware of his voters.
Every elected politician, according to Qureshi, is honorable because he represents millions of people. He regretted that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), by becoming its advocate, was endangering democracy.
“Neither the opposition nor the opposition has a single flag, ideology, or agenda,” the foreign minister said, adding that the opposition’s sole goal was to depose Prime Minister Imran Khan.
“Never before in history has there been as much damage to democracy as there is today,” Qureshi asserted.
He also added that the Chaudhry Brothers were very elegant and would make the best decision possible at the appropriate moment.
“Where the camel of no-trust will sit remains to be seen,” he remarked.
“At this time, Pakistan cannot afford to be unclear.” He continued, “The prime minister is meeting with everyone, even allies.”
The foreign minister described the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) as a valuable ally of the administration, noting that the MQM-P has been totally supportive of the government for the past three and a half years. He also expressed gratitude to the MQM-P.
“No one is oblivious to the PPP’s 15-year mistreatment of Karachi residents. “Bilawal is still a child and immature,” he stated, claiming that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s efforts had resulted on March 15 is designated as the International Day to Combat Islamophobia.
“The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) issued Pakistan a resolution, which the United Nations (UN) adopted,” he added.
“I am deeply grateful to Prime Minister Imran Khan for appreciating the efforts of our Permanent Representative to the UN Munir Akram and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” he expressed his gratitude.
“Congratulations to the entire nation on March 15 being set as the International Day to Combat Islamophobia,” he congratulated the nation.
