PM urges people to gather in Islamabad on March 27

SWAT: Prime Minister Imran Khan encouraged Pakistanis to gather in Islamabad on March 27 to tell the world that Pakistanis “stand with the truth and are against corruption,” as the PTI plans a major demonstration.

“People’s conscience is being auctioned […] it is the duty of people now to stand against evil,” the prime minister stated during a PTI jalsa in Swat, referring to the no-confidence motion against him.

The Opposition’s no-trust resolution against the premier is scheduled to be voted on in the last few days of this month, with the government attempting to entice its allies into backing it and the Opposition attempting to shatter the coalition in the National Assembly.

The prime minister is in Swat for a one-day visit ahead of the second round of local body elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Following its first-round setback, the PTI has stepped up its campaigning, with Prime Minister Imran Khan leading all rallies in key cities.

The prime minister asked Pakistanis to fight against three “mice” — Zardari, Fazl, and PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif — for the country’s future.

“But I also assure you that I will hunt them down,” he promised as he appealed to the public for help.

PM Imran Khan alleged that the Opposition has begun horse-trading in order to ensure the success of their no-confidence motion against the prime minister.

“They want to get rid of me because they know that if I stay in power for another year, they’ll all be in jail […] and the first thing they want to do when they are in power is abolished NAB,” he stated.

The premier stated that the following days are critical for the country because all of the “thieves” have come together and have given him the opportunity to “bowl out three wickets in a single ball.”

PM Imran Khan reiterated his challenge and said that during his government’s tenure, the development has been better as compared to the tenure of the previous governments of PPP and PML-N.

Jewish lobby

PM Imran Khan attacked Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the leader of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and JUI-F, for being a member of the “Jewish” lobby. “However, the individual accused of being a member of the Jewish lobby turned out to be the one who got a UN resolution against Islamophobia passed.”

“For the past three years, I, my Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, our ambassador Munir Akram, and our Foreign Office have been striving to get a UN resolution on Islamophobia passed,” he stated.

After the 9/11 attacks in the United States, the prime explained, Western countries created a narrative that led people to associate Islam with terrorism.

“Terrorism has no religion, and despite Islam having no links with terrorism, a perception was created that terrorism is being spread across the world due to terrorism,” the prime minister said.

The prime minister said he discussed the subject of Islamophobia during an Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) summit three years ago, and that he raised it again at the United Nations.

“No Pakistani leader had before raised the subject at the United Nations. Previously, anytime Islam was insulted in Western countries, Pakistanis would take to the streets and vandalize their own property. I told them at the time, “Don’t do it; I’ll take this problem to the international level.” “he stated

After the United Nations passed a resolution designating March 15 as the “International Day to Combat Islamophobia,” the prime minister said he has been receiving congratulations from all around the Muslim world.

Pakistan introduced the historic resolution on behalf of the OIC.

“Fazlur Rehman, I’d want to ask you a question: In the last 30 years, you’ve been a part of every government. Have you ever been successful in convincing a Western leader to speak out against Islamophobia? Did you even attempt to communicate with them?”

The prime minister slammed Fazl for holding anti-government rallies and teaching his madrassah pupils that the prime minister was a member of the “Jewish” lobby.
