A young girl was critically injured after a Chhipa ambulance hit her and dragged her for around 30 feet as she attempted to cross the road in Karachi’s Orangi Town neighborhood.
The incident was also captured on camera and released. The ambulance involved in the collision was raided and collected by a squad from Pakistan Bazaar Police Station on Wednesday, but the driver managed to flee the scene.
The ambulance hit the girl and carried her for around 30 feet before being ploughed over by an overspeeding minibus.
The victim was gravely injured, with both of her legs fractured, and was transported to a hospital by the same ambulance.
The victim’s relatives pleaded with authorities to provide the girl with the greatest medical care and justice possible.
Chippa, on the other hand, has been standing behind his driver. Chippa’s volunteer assisted the sufferer in receiving medical treatment at Karachi’s Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, according to a Chippa spokeswoman.
