After handing off a cargo of humanitarian goods to the Ukrainian envoy in Islamabad, he spoke to the media.
Pakistan’s Foreign Minister remarked that violence is not a solution to problems and that the government always seeks a peaceful solution to crises.
The humanitarian relief products that will be transported to Ukraine via two special C-130 aircraft include emergency medicines, electro-medical equipment, winter bedding, and food supplies.

According to sources familiar with the situation, the government has opted to adopt an “independent foreign policy” and has advocated that dialogue is the best approach to resolve the Russia-Ukraine issue.
Pakistan, the group agreed, was not in favor of tensions under any circumstances.
While meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on February 24, Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed concern for the recent Kyiv-Moscow crisis and expressed Pakistan’s hope that diplomacy may prevent a military clash.
The conversation between the president and the prime minister lasted more than three hours, during which they addressed Islamophobia, Afghanistan, bilateral, regional, and South Asian concerns, among other “important matters,” according to a statement released by the Russian Foreign Ministry.
