Slain man’s thumb sliced off and used to steal cash from ATM in Sheikhupura.

In a shocking incident, the thumb of a man in Sheikhupura District, killed brutally by his cousin, was cut off to access his bank account through ATM and steal is money, reported The Asian Mirror on Wednesday.

According to a police spokesperson, a Housing Colony Police Station team discovered the body of a young man wrapped in a sack while searching a suspicious car.

After finding the body, the police started investigation and were able to trace the blind murder within a few hours with the help of modern technology and human intelligence, the police spokesperson said.

Police said the accused killed his cousin with the help of his friends.

The young man was shot dead and one of his thumbs was also cut off, the police spokesperson said.

He further said that due to greed for money, the accused called deceased Yasin from Faisalabad and murdered him.

The accused then cut off the deceased’s thumb and used it to steal million rupees from his bank account through ATM.

The accused kept the chopped-off thumb of the deceased for withdrawal of the remaining amount in his bank account, the police said.

Police said Yasin’s dead body was placed in the trunk of a car for throwing into a canal.

The deceased was the only son of his parents.
