PM should muster support through votes instead of gathering people, says Saad Rafique

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique accused Imran Khan of lying and stated that people were fleeing from him.

‘Some people’ began to be deemed bad by him [Imran Khan] when they became neutral, the PML-N leader stated during a press conference outside an accountability court in Lahore.

“We [the opposition] are going to vote, but Imran Khan is gathering people for public meetings,” Saad added, pleading with the Lahore High Court (LHC) to take notice.

He also accused the administration of stirring up trouble in the Parliament Lodges.

“Imran Khan knows he is going to be ousted. He should muster support through votes instead of gathering people,” Saad said.

“The PML-N wants a new mandate. It is not impossible now to wait for another one-and-a-half year,” he added.

Saad also emphasized the need to put an end to political retaliation. “Accountability institutions are in charge of accountability. Courts are responsible for delivering justice, he stated.

“It will now take time to fix things,” the PML-N stalwart added, criticizing the administration for causing so much chaos in the country.
