Stage actress Nargis’s brother alleges torture on his sister by her husband.
The brother of a renowned Pakistani stage actress, Nargis, has alleged that her sister’s husband physically tortures her on a daily basis, reported The Asian Mirror on Friday.
In his complaint to the police, Khurram Bhatti has said that Majid Bashir, a policeman by profession, beats up Nargis due to which her condition has deteriorated.
On the other hand, sources in the police have told TAM that the actress has yet to lodge a complaint against her husband and that the action will only be taken once she gets an FIR registered.
Nargis had married Majid a few years ago and later left the world of showbiz.
Nargis is also a makeup artist and running a saloon for the past several years.
