The cracks in the local party leaders have come to the fore ahead of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to Hafizabad tomorrow (Sunday).
According to reports, Hafizabad MP Mamoon Jafar seemed uninterested in greeting his party’s leader, as he did not order or display any banners to welcome PM Khan.
MNA Shaukat Bhatti, on the other hand, has expressed his excitement for the premier’s planned to visit tomorrow. He greeted the prime minister with welcome flags. However, MPA Mamoon Jafar’s name was not included in the list of participants displayed on the banners.
The whole situation has left the PTI workers in a quandary as they are wondering what is going on in the local politics.
