KARACHI: Sui Southern Gas Company (SSCG) announced on Thursday that CNG stations in Sindh will be closed for three days beginning tomorrow (March 11).
According to a statement from the SSGC, the management has decided to stop supplying gas to all CNG stations in the province starting Friday.
CNG stations will close at 8 a.m. on Friday and reopen at the same time on Monday, March 14, according to the gas supply business.
The last time the gas supply was cut off was on March 4, and it was restored 72 hours later.
After over three months, CNG stations have reopened
Prior to that, on February 14, CNG stations in Sindh and Balochistan reopened after a nearly three-month hiatus.
According to the SSGC, “Gas supplies to the CNG sector were suspended from December 1, 2021, until February 15, 2022, in compliance with the Gas Load Management Plan.”
Only those CNG stations that use RLNG are getting gas supply restored, according to the statement.
