CTD identify handlers involved in Peshawar attack

The effort to apprehend the network responsible for a suicide attack inside Jamia Mosque at Kocha – e – Rasladar Chowk in ancient Qisa Khwani Bazar during Friday prayers is underway in various regions.

The operation is being carried out by four special teams from the Counter-Terrorism Department’s (CTD) investigation cell in several tribal regions, while Inter Intelligence Co-ordination teams are seeking to identify and uncover the network of facilitators and handlers engaged in the incident.

The suicide attacker and one of the handlers engaged in the suicide attack at a Peshawar mosque have been identified by law enforcement authorities.

The suicide bomber has been identified as Abdullah, according to sources, because he constantly changed his name.

They also shared that information, and a photo of one of the handlers was discovered, identifying him as Hasan Shah, a resident of the Jamrud area of Khyber district.

Currently, four CTD teams are in tribal districts using GSM locators to apprehend the handler.

Meanwhile, another person died as a result of his injuries, bringing the total number of people killed in a bomb inside Jamia Mosque at Kocha – e – Rasladar Chowk in historic Qisa Khwani Bazar during Friday prayers to 63.
