Renowned martial artist Jeffrey William Monson has accepted Islam.
Jeffrey is known for his terrific power and skill.
He embraced Islam under the guidance of a scholar at an Islamic center in Moscow, Russia.
Monson maintained that he accepted Islam to show solidarity with the people of Palestine who are suffering at the hands of Israeli army.
Monson said that he was searching for true meaning and purpose in life over the years and his journey towards Islam is a great transformation.
He accepted that the values and principles of Islam truly resembles with his own beliefs.

Monson said that he converted to Islam after research and a studying various religious philosophies.
He further said that it was his own deliberate decision.
Monson, originally from St. Paul, Minnesota, is a well known figure in the world of jiu-jitsu, boasting several world championship titles.
His illustrious mixed martial arts career includes a record of 60 victories, 26 defeats, and one draw.
Monson surrendered his U.S. citizenship and became a Russian citizen in 2018.
