PTI-led government fully trust its partners, says Rasheed

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad stated on Sunday that the PTI-led government has “full trust in its partners,” but that the combined Opposition’s efforts to introduce a no-confidence vote against the government have come to a halt.

During a news conference in Islamabad on Sunday, the minister stated that the Ministry of Interior would give “complete protection” to the PPP-led long march, which began earlier in the day in Karachi.

However, he stated that bringing about a revolution is not PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-cup Zardari’s of tea, citing the Nizam-e-Mustafa movement of JUI-F chairman Maulana Fazlur Rehman as an example.

“Opposition parties are mainly concerned with advancing their own agendas. Fazl would be aware of what happened to the 1977 Nizam-e-Mustafa agitation “he stated

Political groups attempting to cause havoc in the country, according to the minister, would inevitably be defeated.

“The Opposition’s circus will endure no more than nine days since they have no idea how to carry out their objectives.”

He went on to claim that the opposition’s intentions will backfire and that the existing government is poised to complete four years in power and will complete another year successfully.

Sindh and Pakistan will not be able to progress till the PTI is in power: Bilawal
On the other side, Bilawal stated on Sunday that neither Sindh nor Pakistan can advance unless the PTI administration is deposed.

His remarks came during the politician’s speech at a rally in Mazar-e-Quaid, which preceded the start of the PPP’s long march.

The PPP leader began his rally speech with the motto “Go Selected.”

Earlier, Bilawal hailed Karachi residents for turning out in large numbers to “wage war” against the incumbent administration in response to the party’s appeal.

He went on to remark that the existing government’s three years in power had prompted Karachi’s citizens to protest.

“The ineligible and incompetent prime minister has plundering Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s rights,” Bilawal stated.
