Salman Khan breaks silence on firing incident.
On April 14, Bollywood actor Salman Khan was startled awake by the sound of gunshots as two bikers fired at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai.
Authorities have identified the shooters as operatives hired by the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang, who conspired to assassinate the 58-year-old star.
Police Investigation:
A team of four, including an officer from the Mumbai Crime Branch, visited Salman Khan’s home on June 4 to record statements from him and his brother, Arbaaz Khan.

The brothers under went six hours of questioning.
Salman Khan expressed his gratitude to the police, acknowledging the threat to his life.
Salman Khan’s Account:
Salman Khan detailed that he had gone to bed late after attending a party the night before the shooting.
He was awakened by the noise of a bullet, later discovered lodged in his balcony. Upon investigating, he saw no one outside.
Arbaaz Khan’s Statement:
Arbaaz Khan, who was at his Juhu residence during the incident, confirmed his awareness of prior threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang against his brother.
He provided his statement over two hours.
Salman Khan’s statement was recorded over three hours, with Arbaaz Khan questioned for an additional two hours.
The police asked them more than 150 questions during the interrogation.

Their father, Salim Khan, was present at the Bandra apartment during the shooting but did not have his statement recorded due to his age. The crime branch may record his statement if deemed necessary.
Following the shooting, six men were arrested. Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal were captured in Gujarat, while Anuj Thapan and another individual were detained in Punjab on April 26.
Anuj Thapan later died in police custody.

As Salman Khan breaks silence on firing incident, the police revealed that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang had devised a more extensive plot to attack Salman Khan’s car in Panvel, Maharashtra, where he owns a farmhouse.
The gang had allegedly obtained high-caliber weapons, including AK-47s and M-16s, from a Pakistani arms supplier.
The gang, led by the imprisoned Lawrence Bishnoi and his Canada-based cousin Anmol Bishnoi, along with associate Goldie Brar, planned to either ambush Khan’s car or attack his farmhouse.
