The viral CISF officer has been offered job by Bollywood singer.

A day after a dramatic incident at the Chandigarh airport, where a CISF officer slapped Bollywood actor and newly-elected BJP MP Kangana Ranaut, the officer has been suspended.

The altercation involved CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur, who reportedly reacted to Ranaut’s earlier comments about Punjabi women who protested against the now-repealed farm laws.

Kaur’s mother was among the protesters, which she claimed provoked her response.

Incident at the Airport:

The incident occurred on Thursday evening as Ranaut was traveling to Delhi to attend a National Democratic Alliance (NDA) meeting.

Reports indicate that Kaur slapped Ranaut due to her derogatory statements about Punjabi women, which had previously sparked controversy.

Immediate Suspension:

Following the incident, Ranaut took to her X (formerly Twitter) handle to reassure her fans that she was ‘safe and perfectly fine’.

In response to her complaint, the CISF swiftly suspended Kaur.

This move has drawn significant attention and mixed reactions from the public and prominent personalities.

CISF officer offered job:

In the aftermath, Bollywood singer and music composer Vishal Dadlani publicly addressed the incident on his Instagram handle.

While he clarified that he does not support violence, Dadlani expressed understanding of Kaur’s anger.

He promised to help her find employment if she faces strict action from the CISF.

“I do not ever support violence, but I absolutely understand the need of this @official_cisf personnel’s anger. If any action is taken against her by the CISF, I will ensure that she has a job waiting for her should she choose to accept it. Jai Hind. Jai Jawaan. Jai Kisaan,” Dadlani wrote.

Further Comments:

Dadlani continued to defend Kaur in subsequent posts, pointing out the severity of Ranaut’s comments.

“Those on Dungana’s side, if she had said your Mother is ‘available in 100 Rupees’ what would you do? Again if Ms. Kaur is removed from duty someone get her in touch with me and I will ensure she is gainfully employed,” he added.

Industry Reactions:

Ranaut also took to her Instagram stories to question the silence of her Bollywood colleagues regarding the incident, further fueling the debate.

The incident has highlighted the ongoing tensions and polarized opinions within the film industry and the political landscape.
