Saudi Arabia will host family members of Palestinian victims for Hajj.

In a significant gesture of goodwill, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, has directed the hosting of 2,322 Hajj pilgrims this year.

This initiative includes 1,000 family members of Palestinian martyrs, prisoners, and those wounded in conflicts, as reported by local media.

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs will also host 22 family members of conjoined twins who underwent separation surgeries in the Kingdom.

In addition to these special guests, 1,300 pilgrims from 88 different countries around the globe will participate in this year’s pilgrimage under the program.

This effort is part of the longstanding King Salman’s Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit, which has been facilitating the pilgrimage for Muslims worldwide for the past 26 years.

The program has enabled over 60,000 pilgrims to perform Hajj.

As Saudi Arabia to host family members of Palestinian victims for Hajj, Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Sheikh, the Minister of Islamic Affairs and General Supervisor of the Program, praised the initiative, noting that it reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to serving Islam and supporting Muslims.

He emphasized that the program highlights Saudi Arabia’s pivotal role in the Islamic world, being home to the Muslim Qibla and a leader in initiatives that benefit the global Islamic community.
