Do you know how to use undo ‘delete for me’ feature on WhatsApp?
WhatsApp has introduced several new features, including an “undo” feature for accidental deletions, chat lock enhancements, and the ability to tag contacts in status updates.
How to Undo Delete for me Feature:
WhatsApp users will now have a 5-second window to recover messages that were accidentally deleted using the “Delete for Me” option.
This feature aims to prevent the frustration of mistakenly deleting messages, allowing users to quickly undo the action before it becomes permanent.
To use the undo feature, simply navigate to the chat containing the deleted message, tap on the message, and select “Delete message” > “Delete for me.”
If you accidentally delete a message, you will have 5 seconds to tap “Undo” and restore the message.

Chat Lock and Status Update Tags:
Additionally, WhatsApp is rolling out a chat lock feature that allows users to secure their chats with an extra layer of privacy.
This feature will now extend to linked devices, ensuring that chats remain protected across multiple devices.
Moreover, users will soon be able to tag their contacts directly in status updates.
This feature aims to enhance user interaction and make status updates more engaging and visible to the intended recipients.
Multi-Device Login Enhancements:
While WhatsApp allows users to log into the same account on multiple devices, some features, such as status updates and chat lock, were previously limited to primary devices.
WhatsApp is now working to extend these features to work seamlessly across all linked devices.
