In Hamid Mir’s latest ‘Capital Talk’ episode, a funny banter between Shiekh Waqas Akram and Faisal Vawda on ‘Cholon ki siyasat’ took the center stage.
Hamid Mir asked Faisal Vawda, “If a judicial commission is made to investigate the 8 February elections, would it resolve the issue as PTI blamed the establishment for rigging in the elections?”
Faisal Vawda said, “Rigging is not a new thing in Pakistan. There was also rigging in the 2018 elections and in the previous elections as well. It’s a routine. The country saw many judicial commissions but the result was zero. You have to accept this government. This form 47. These ‘Chole’. You can only negotiate with the government.”
Then Hamid Mir asked the same question from PTI MNA Shikeh Waqas Akram. He said, “Yes, we want a free and fair inquiry into the 9 May mayhem. Otherwise the hatred will continue to grow. Ye chole kisi ne nh lene, na hum assembly me cholon ke lie ae hain (Neither we accept these Chole Nor we have come to assembly to honour chole). Our mandate has been stolen. Hamien Chole dene ki koshish aik saal se ki ja rahi ha. Jis ne chole ab tak nh lie wo agge b nh le ga.”
Hamid Mir then again asked Faisal Vawda, “Wase ap ne Butt ke cholo ke zikar kia tha, ya Boote ke cholon ka ya Ghuam Rasool ke cholon ka zikar kia tha.”
Vawda repied, “Mein apne bhai ko yehi kahu ga ke agge b chole hain, piche b chole hain, upper b chole hain or niche b chole hain. Chole hi chole hain or bus yehi hain. Chole to apko khane hi paren ge.”
Shiekh Waqas Akram interrupted and said, “Cholon pe wo ae hain jo forum 47 pe bethe hain. Awam ne jb inse cholon ka hisab lena ha inko lag pata jae ga.”
Faisal Vawda replied, “Agr ap form 47 ke cholon ki baat kar rahe hain to apko 2018 ke cholo ka zikar b karna hoga. Jb ap jeet jae tab apko sb thek lagta ha. Agr haar jae to ilam lagana achi baat nhi.”
Waqas Akram said, “Faisal sb ap tb b cholo ke sath the ap ab b chole ke sath hain. This thing has to end. Ab ap cholo ko jane dein or sach ke sath khare ho jain. Ab inhe cholon ki siyasat nh karni chahie.”
Faisal said, “Meri fikar na karen mere pass to murgh chole hain. Inke pass jo chole hain wo adhe kache adhe pakke hain.”
