Significant Growth in Assets:

Mr. Khan’s assets have seen remarkable growth since his previous declaration.

His income for the year 2022 was reported at an impressive Rs185.68 million, primarily attributed to the sale of a watch received as a gift from a foreign dignitary.

This income surge contrasts starkly with the modest Rs7 million recorded in the preceding year.

The official documents submitted to ECP further reveal a diverse portfolio, including over Rs90 million held in various bank accounts and foreign currency reserves exceeding $300,000.

Tax Contributions and Financial Transparency:

The disclosure also sheds light on Mr. Khan’s tax contributions over the years.

In the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023, he paid Rs15.59 million in income tax, while his spouse, Bushra Bibi, contributed Rs3.28 million on an income of approximately Rs19.82 million during the fiscal year 2022-23.

Property Holdings and Investments:

Mr. Khan’s asset portfolio extends beyond liquid assets, with ownership of over a dozen properties, primarily inherited.

Among these holdings is a house situated in Lahore’s prestigious Zaman Park area, along with an advance payment of Rs11.97 million for a two-bedroom apartment located on Islamabad’s Constitution Avenue.

Notably, Mr. Khan has declared his Bani Gala residence as a gift, yet disclosed an expenditure of Rs11.47 million towards its maintenance.

As Imran Khan’s net worth surges to Rs315.95 million, interestingly, the disclosure highlights an absence of vehicle ownership by Imran Khan, a notable deviation from typical declarations by individuals of his stature.
