The initiative aims to revolutionize the country’s education sector by integrating cutting-edge technology and innovative teaching methods.
AI-Powered Features to Enhance Learning Experience:
The smart schools, to be located primarily in Islamabad, will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including 30,000 Google for Education IDs.

These IDs will offer access to a suite of digital tools enhanced by artificial intelligence, such as practice sets and collaborative platforms, designed to elevate the learning experience for both students and educators.
Strategic Meeting with Ministry of Federal Education:
Google recently convened with the Secretary of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training to present their forthcoming plans for Pakistan’s education sector.
During the meeting, discussions extended to several upcoming initiatives aimed at fostering digital literacy and skill development among students and educators.
Comprehensive Education Initiatives Unveiled:
Among the key initiatives discussed were teacher workshops on Google for Education tools, aimed at enhancing educators’ proficiency in utilizing technology for teaching and learning.
Additionally, plans were unveiled for the establishment of a public Google Reference School, serving as a model for innovative educational practices.
Empowering Youth with Job-Ready Skills:
Recognizing the importance of preparing youth for the workforce, Google and Tech Valley announced their commitment to training 2000 young individuals in job-ready skills through Google Career Certificates.
These certificates will provide participants with the necessary skills and credentials to thrive in today’s digital economy.
Furthermore, discussions were centered on hosting an Edutech event.
Such an event would provide a platform for stakeholders to exchange ideas, showcase innovations, and explore opportunities for further collaboration in advancing education in Pakistan.
