Raoof Hasan says doors are closed for Fawad Ch to join PTI again.
PTI officials have expressed firm opposition to the potential return of former member Fawad Chaudhry.
Speaking to a private TV channel, PTI’s Information Secretary Raoof Hasan asserted that there has been no indication from PTI founder Imran Khan to accept Fawad Ch back into the party and doors are closed for him to join again.

“I did not receive any green light from PTI founder Imran Khan about taking Fawad back in the party’s camp.”
Hasan emphasized that the party is unlikely to welcome back individuals who abandoned ship during difficult times, labelling them as opportunists.
“I call them rats,” he said.
Reservations Over Fawad’s Return:
PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat admitted that while there are efforts from some quarters to re-induct Fawad into the party, there are significant reservations among the party leadership and workers regarding his return.
Marwat stressed that those who previously levied allegations against Imran Khan and the party are not likely to find a place back in the PTI ranks.
“Those who levelled allegations on the party founder and the party itself, there is no chance of their return to the fold,” he said.
Fawad Chaudhry’s Departure and PTI’s Reaction:
The rift between Fawad Chaudhry and PTI deepened following his reaction to Imran Khan’s arrest on May 10, 2023.
According to a BBC report, Fawad’s statement, “Imran phharya gaya ay, chal aaja [Imran Khan has been arrested. Let’s go.],” caused quite a stir within the party.
Subsequently, Fawad announced his departure from PTI on May 24, 2023, citing the events of May 9, when party workers and supporters engaged in vandalism following Imran Khan’s arrest, as the reason for his decision.
“I am parting ways with (sic) Imran Khan and stepping down from party position,” said Fawad earlier.
The statements from PTI officials indicate a firm stance against Fawad Chaudhry’s potential re-induction into the party.
With strong opposition from key party figures and a clear reluctance to forgive those who criticized Imran Khan and the party during turbulent times, it seems unlikely that Fawad will find his way back into PTI’s ranks anytime soon.
