Do you know about 50 free WiFi spots in Lahore? The Punjab government has reintroduced a program offering complimentary WiFi access at numerous locations throughout Lahore, the provincial capital.

Originally initiated during the tenure of former Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the service was discontinued when the PTI government assumed office in 2021.

The announcement of the project’s reinstatement came from Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz following her party’s recent assumption of power in the province.

Presently, the free WiFi service is operational at 50 sites in Lahore, with intentions to expand coverage to additional areas of the city.

The designated free WiFi locations encompass public spaces, educational institutions, and hospitals, including notable spots like Hussain Chowk, Mozang Adda, Naqshah Stop, Kotha Pind Stop, Shadman Chowk, and MM Alam Road.
