WhatsApp is working to let users share files and photos without internet.
WhatsApp is reportedly in the process of developing a new feature aimed at facilitating file sharing without the need for an active internet connection.
According to recent reports from an international media source, this upcoming feature will leverage Bluetooth technology on users’ mobile phones to detect nearby devices for local sharing of photos, videos, music, and other documents.

Notably, users will have the flexibility to disable this feature if they opt not to use it.
In order to utilize this feature, users will be required to grant access to certain permissions, including system files, photo gallery, and location data.
However, to prioritize user privacy and security, WhatsApp plans to implement encryption for shared files and conceal phone numbers associated with the sharing process.
As WhatsApp is working to let users share files and photos without internet, there is no official announcement from WhatsApp regarding the launch timeline of this feature.
