Ghee and cooking oil prices go down in Pakistan. In a move aimed at providing substantial relief to the public as Ramadan approaches, the Utility Stores Corporation has unveiled a noteworthy decrease in prices for essential commodities, particularly ghee and cooking oil.
Reports indicate that the corporation has extended these reductions to various other household staples, including soap and washing powder, reflecting a concerted effort to alleviate financial strain on consumers.
The price adjustments entail reductions of up to Rs100 per kilogram for ghee and cooking oil across different brands. Moreover, significant cuts of up to Rs100 have been implemented for branded tea products.
