Chief Minister Naqvi, during his visit to the facility, emphasized the monumental task at hand despite the modest physical structure of the center, acknowledging the pervasive challenges faced by the transgender community, often overlooked by society.

Accompanied by Punjab Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr. Usman Anwar, Chairman of the UK Curriculum and Accreditation Board Zahid Bhatti, and members of the transgender community, Naqvi conducted a comprehensive inspection of the center’s classrooms, hostel, and amenities.

In a briefing, he was informed about the comprehensive educational and technical training programs tailored for transgender children, aimed at providing them with a secure and nurturing environment.

During the inaugural ceremony, Naqvi extended an open invitation to all transgender children to enroll at Tahaffuz Darsgah, underscoring its inclusive ethos.

He commended the UK educational board for their expeditious establishment of the center and applauded Punjab IGP Dr. Anwar for his steadfast support of the transgender community, citing various initiatives undertaken during his tenure to provide employment and other opportunities.

Naqvi urged the dedicated team behind Tahaffuz Darsgah to remain steadfast in their commitment to the institution’s noble cause, emphasizing that sustained focus and effort would ensure its success.
