Body of Gaza girl trapped under Israeli fire found after 12 days. Palestinian girl Hind Rajab, who had been missing for 12 days following an Israeli attack on the vehicle she was traveling in with her family in Gaza, has brought profound sorrow and condemnation from across the globe.
Alongside Hind, two courageous paramedics also lost their lives during the operation to find her, as reported by Al Jazeera.
The confirmation of the deaths of all seven passengers in the car, including Hind, came on Saturday, announced by both the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) and Hind’s grieving family.
Among the casualties were Yusuf Zeino and Ahmed al-Madhoun, PRCS crew members, who perished in the same tragic assault on civilians in Gaza City.

Hind’s tiny body was discovered in the Tal al-Hawa area of the city, lying beside her uncle, aunt, and their three children, according to details provided by the Palestinian news agency Wafa.
Her uncle, Sameeh Hamadeh, described the car as being pierced with bullets, indicating the intensity of the violence they endured.
In a statement, the PRCS condemned what it called a deliberate targeting by the Israeli occupation forces of the ambulance and its crew, despite prior coordination for Hind’s rescue.
Earlier, an audio recording released by the PRCS had captured Hind’s desperate pleas for help during a harrowing three-hour phone call, wherein she was the lone survivor amidst her deceased family members.
Prior to the discovery of Hind’s body, the Israeli army had claimed ignorance of the incident, adding further outrage to the already grievous situation.
The PRCS had been meticulously documenting the passing hours since they lost contact with Hind and the rescue team, highlighting the perilous conditions faced by Palestinian healthcare workers in the region.
Earlier recordings released by Hind’s mother and cousin, Layan Hamadeh, provided chilling insight into the terror they experienced during the attack, further amplifying calls for justice and accountability for such atrocities.
Pro-Palestine activists worldwide have vehemently condemned the targeting of innocent Palestinian children like Hind by Israeli military forces.
As tensions persist, the Israeli army’s continued targeting of areas like Rafah exacerbates the already dire situation faced by Palestinians, characterized by hunger, displacement, and ongoing fear.
Motaz Azaiza, a Palestinian journalist who survived the violence in Gaza, took to social media to express profound grief and despair over Hind’s untimely death, echoing the sentiments of countless others mourning this heartbreaking loss.
