Latif Khosa beats Khawaja Saad Rafique. In a notable blow, longstanding PML-N figure Khawaja Saad Rafique suffered defeat in his stronghold constituency NA-122 Lahore in the 2024 elections, as per unofficial and unconfirmed reports.
PTI-backed contender Sardar Latif Khosa clinched victory with 117,109 votes, while Rafique secured only 77,709 votes.
Voting for the 297 Punjab Assembly seats occurred on Thursday, with ongoing updates on results from different constituencies.
The province’s total population is 127,688,922, and the number of registered voters is 73,207,896 – 39,122,082 men and 34,085,814 women.
