Mukesh Ambani gets death threat. Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries, received a death threat earlier this week.

Mumbai police revealed today that an email sent by an individual named Shadab Khan on October 27 threatened to kill the industrialist unless a staggering sum of ₹20 crore was paid.

The ominous email read, “If you don’t give us 20 crore rupees, we will kill you. We have the best shooters in India.” Security officials at Ambani’s Mumbai residence, Antilia, promptly reported the threat, leading to the filing of a complaint.

The case has been registered under Indian Penal Code sections 387 (pertaining to putting a person in fear of death or grievous hurt to commit extortion) and 506 (2) (related to criminal intimidation).

As Mukesh Ambani gets death threat, a massive manhunt is currently underway to apprehend the person behind the threatening email.

This incident is not the first time Ambani has faced such threats. Last year, Mumbai Police arrested an individual from Bihar for making anonymous calls, threatening to target Ambani and his family members.

The caller had specifically threatened to “blow up” the HN Reliance Foundation Hospital along with the Ambani family’s residence, Antilia, located in south Mumbai.

Additionally, in 2021, an explosives-laden SUV was discovered near Ambani’s residence in south Mumbai.

The vehicle’s owner, businessman Hiran, was later found dead in a creek in neighboring Thane on March 5 of the same year.

The latest threat has raised concerns about the safety and security of one of India’s most prominent industrialists.

Authorities are diligently investigating the matter to ensure the swift apprehension of the individual responsible, and to guarantee the safety of Mukesh Ambani and his family.
