PIA suspends flights operation to Canada. Due to a lack of funding, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has stopped operating flights to Canada.

According to local media on Tuesday, the nation’s national flag carrier is in danger of failing because operations to Ottawa have been halted.

According to media reports, the airline failed to pay despite repeated threats of intimidation, so the Swiss Port Company wrote a letter notifying them to stop providing ground handling services.

It stated that PIA flight operations to Canada would cease starting on October 3rd at 5 o’clock due to non-payment of dues.

As PIA suspends flights operation to Canada, according to the statement, PIA has been reminded numerous times to pay its debts, and because of this failure, the ground-handling services have been terminated in accordance with the terms of the two companies’ respective contracts.

The Pakistani government and any airline spokesperson have not offered any comments on the situation.

Under the administrative supervision of the Secretary to the Government of Pakistan for Aviation, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is a global airline that serves as the national carrier of Pakistan.
