The playing XI for Pakistan Cricket Board’s Super Four match versus India on September 10 (tomorrow) was announced on Saturday.

The board confirmed via social media site X that it would use the same starting lineup it used against Bangladesh in the first Super Four match earlier this week in Lahore.

Fans anticipate a great battle as rain is predicted for the highly anticipated Pakistan vs. India match that will take place at the R Premadasa International Stadium in Colombo.

Babar Azam (c), Shadab Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Imamul Haq, Salman Ali Agha, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Faheem Ashraf, Naseem Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf.

In first Super Four match, Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by seven-wickets as they comfortably chased the 193 runs target in 38.4 overs at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

Rain is expected to delay India’s Super Four match against Pakistan on September 10.

Both of India’s group-stage matches in the current Asia Cup have been hampered by rain.

Their first game, against Pakistan, was called off after the first innings at Pallekele, and their second, against Nepal, was also called off due to rain, which ended only in time for a 23-over second innings that India won using the DLS technique.

Colombo has received a lot of rain in the last week. Some areas have even seen flooding.

According to AccuWeather, there is a 75% chance of rain. Thunderstorms are likely in the afternoon. There is a better than 95% chance of rain during night.

Rain and temperatures ranging from 25 to 29 degrees Celsius are anticipated in Colombo on September 10. Rain is likely to fall during thunderstorms, with a 30 to 50% chance.

Weather.com’s prognosis is just as bleak as AccuWeather’s, with a 90% chance of rain on the day.
