Lahore Jinnah Hospital doctor steals patient’s kidney. A doctor at the Jinnah Hospital in the Punjabi capital lured a patient to treatment using a government-issued health card before allegedly stealing his kidney.

The victim, a resident of Burewala, claimed to a media outlet that he had sought treatment for abdominal pain at the hospital in July of this year when Dr. Zafar Sultan and a man by the name of Mustaq took him to their home under the guise of a checkup.

After receiving treatment, he alleged that the suspects kept him in a home owned by a man named Zahree for four days. Additionally, they informed him that his health card had earned him a Rs. 20,000 discount.

“When I returned home and went to a doctor for follow-up, he revealed that one of my kidneys had been removed,” he said.

As Lahore Jinnah Hospital doctor steals patient’s kidney, Umar Farid claimed that after filing a complaint against the suspects, one of them was arrested by police and later released. He begged the officials to give him justice.

Police added that more investigation is being conducted in the case while claiming that the victim had sold the kidney to the doctor.

Jinnah Hospital established in 1996 in Lahore, is a teaching hospital in the Pakistani province of Punjab. It is owned by the Government of Punjab, Pakistan.

It is spread over 105 acres (42 ha). According to the ‘Ranking Web of World Hospitals’, Jinnah Hospital, Lahore was the second best public sector hospital in Pakistan in 2016.
