Rasheed, on the other hand, was transferred to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) over the weekend for an ECG test after the Punjab government granted permission.

As rumors of the former minister’s death spread, jail officials cleared the air, debunking the death hoax.
On the same day as the scanning tests, the PTI leader was returned to jail. According to officials, the former party leader is receiving all medical services required by law.
Jail authorities also called on the masses to avoid believing rumors and to catch updates from official sources.

Meanwhile, Imran Khan also shared a tweet amid rumors, saying Mian Mehmood suffered severe chest pains in jail, and was taken to the hospital but despite doctors’ advice to keep him under observation, he was forcibly taken back to the jail.
Khan further claimed that his close aide is being subjected to such torture and inhumane behavior solely for his crime of refusing to renounce PTI.
Mian Mehmood ur Rashid is a Pakistani politician who was the Provincial Minister of Punjab for Housing, Urban Development, and Public Health Engineering, in office from 27 August 2018 till 28 March 2022.
He had been a member of the Provincial Assembly of Punjab from August 2018 to January 2023.
