Faiz Hameed wanted to rule Pakistan for 30 years, claims Faisal Vawda. Vawda, a former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and minister, has launched another rant against former Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt Gen (retd) Faiz Hameed.
In a recent interview with a private news station, the outspoken lawmaker stated that the former spymaster wished to rule Pakistan for decades in the manner of late Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, using then-Prime Minister Imran Khan as a tool.
He said that Faiz Hameed was planning a presidential form of government in Pakistan, with the PTI chairman as a pawn in his scheme.
Vawda claimed that the PTI chairman is not intelligent enough to recognize people’s true faces and that he and other party members were fully aware of Faiz Hameed’s plot.

Vawda further stated that the former ISI chief indoctrinated the PTI chief into believing that democracy is bad for Pakistan, using it as a bribe to get control of the military forces.
Vawda said that Lt-Gen (r) Faiz Hameed would have finally removed the civilian government and taken over the country’s reign.
Faiz Hameed wanted to rule Pakistan for 30 years, claims Faisal Vawda.
This is not the first time he has attacked Faiz Hameed; earlier, Vawda dubbed him the architect, mastermind, and biggest beneficiary of the £190 million National Crime Agency (NCA) scandal.
He claimed that the former ISI commander arranged the Al-Qadir Trust corruption case, which Imran Khan is currently facing, and that the former was the largest benefit in this corruption game.
