WhatsApp finally announces chat lock feature. All users of WhatsApp now have access to the new Chat Lock feature, which is found on the user’s profile page.

Anyone can lock specific WhatsApp chats in the new version so that no one else can access them. This feature will be useful if you have to hand over your smartphone to a stranger for work and don’t want them to read your private chats.

The new WhatsApp Chat Lock feature protects your privacy and automatically hides the contents of chats in notifications.

The new message is not visible when you launch the applications since it is kept in the Locked folder. As a result, your privacy is safeguarded.
