Lahore Fort was closed to the public for Bakhtawar Bhutto and husband’s ‘royal’ visit. Bakhtawar Bhutto, the sister of Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto and the daughter of former President Asif Ali Zardari, recently made a royal visit to Lahore’s ancient Shahi Fort.

The Shahi Fort and Badshahi Masjid in Lahore were bustling with activity on a sunny afternoon as preparations were made to welcome Bhutto and her husband.

Bakhtawar, who is well known for her passion for cultural heritage, seemed truly enthralled by the opulent setting. She and her spouse explored the Shahi Fort’s artistically carved halls, courtyards, and passages while dressed elegantly for the occasion. Their footsteps reverberated through the opulent rooms, conjuring memories of the past and the splendor that had adorned these ancient walls.

The public’s attention was drawn to a video of the fort being evacuated that journalist Muhammad Akbar Bajwa posted on social media. Many Twitter users voiced their outrage at the situation, calling it unfair.
