Dramatic scenes unfolded today as PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry ran frantically to avoid arrest by police following his release by the Islamabad High Court (IHC) in another case.
The former information minister was about to leave with his lawyers after being granted bail by the Islamabad High Court when Anti-Terrorism Squad personnel attempted to apprehend him in another case.
After seeing the cops, Fawad Chaudhry, an Imran Khan close aide, ran out of his vehicle in a desperate attempt to enter the court premises to avoid police arrest; however, police pursued him while the entire incident was covered by media.

Earlier in the day, the court ordered the release of several PTI leaders, including Fawad Chaudhry, Shireen Mazari, and others, ruling that their detention was illegal.
The former minister was detained last week as he appeared in the Supreme Court, where he had sought refuge to avoid arrest after the government launched a crackdown on PTI leaders following Imran Khan’s arrest for vandalism and clashes at civil-military installations.
