Dear Editor,
I am writing to express my concern over the recent PTI’s protests that have erupted in response to the arrest of Imran Khan, the leader of the opposition party in our country. While I understand that there are differing opinions on Mr. Khan’s arrest and the political landscape of our country, I believe that the protests have gone too far and are not productive for our society.
Firstly, the PTI’s protests have led to the disruption of daily life for citizens. Roads have been blocked, public transportation has been affected, and businesses have been forced to close their doors. This has caused inconvenience and financial losses for many people who have nothing to do with the political situation.
Secondly, the protests have often turned violent, with clashes between protesters and law enforcement resulting in injuries and property damage. This is unacceptable in a civilized society and only serves to further polarize people and create more tension.
I believe that protests are an important part of our democracy, but they should be peaceful and respectful of the rights of others. I urge all parties involved to engage in constructive dialogue and find a peaceful solution to this issue. Violence and disruption only serve to make matters worse, and ultimately harm our country and its citizens.
Sincerely,
Eman Farid
