The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023’s on-field altercation between Royal Challengers Bangalore player Virat Kohli and Lucknow Super Giants coach Gautam Gambhir has dominated the news. Many former cricket players have weighed in on the topic, sparking a lot of discussion. On Wednesday, Virat Kohli posted an old conversation with West Indies star Viv Richards to social media with the hashtag “The Real Boss” as the description. If a T20 league similar to the IPL existed during Richards’ time, he expressed a wish to play in it after he finished playing Test cricket.
He discussed his passion for the game’s shortest format in an interview with Cricket District and expressed his desire to participate in league play. With a strike rate of 86.07 in Test games, Richards was regarded as one of the most explosive hitters of all time.
Virat Kohli calls Viv Richards the “Real Boss” of Cricket.

“Oh, that’s what I said. In terms of, after you are done with your chores (playing red-ball cricket) in IPL or CPL. Oh, man! I would have loved that,” the legendary West Indian cricketer revealed.
Kohli and Gambhir have been handed hefty fines for breaching the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 Code of Conduct.
