Munawar explained in a recently leaked video that the footage of him yelling at filmmaker Sohail Javed had been staged.
Because he thinks that people tend to gravitate toward negative information and that negativity is what tends to go viral, he felt compelled to publicly apologize for the stunt.

Javed, who also made an appearance in the video, made the point that people complain about media that only portrays negative things in plays and films.

Last but not least, both Munawar and Javed admitted that their altercation was a promotional trick for their future film, which is based on a similar tale about a writer.
