Apple launches its first official Mumbai store. The smartphone giant will officially open a retail store in Mumbai tomorrow, followed by another in Delhi on April 20, highlighting the company’s ambitions for the country as a growing market and manufacturing base. The opening of the stores comes with Apple’s 25th anniversary in India.

The Mumbai store’s first glimpses feature a large glass exterior, making it stand out. The tall ceiling and pillars open up a space with several desks lined up parallelly, videos and photographs posted by media professionals invited to the store show.
The Apple BKC store also features an area on the first floor that sells accessories for iPhones, Macs, and other items. It also contains a section dedicated to the HomePod and Apple TV+.
The ceiling is constructed of wood with a carved triangular texture. Each tile is said to be comprised of 408 pieces of wood, comprising 31 modules per tile, for a total of 1,000 tiles that make up the ceiling.

According to a rumor, the BKC store is intended to be one of the world’s most energy-efficient Apple Store locations. The store is carbon neutral in operation, using only renewable energy.
Apple BKC, which will be located in Mumbai’s bustling Bandra Kurla Complex, will employ over 100 people who speak more than 20 languages.
In 2020, Apple will launch its own Indian internet shop. India is the world’s second-largest smartphone market and one of the company’s fastest-growing.
According to CyberMedia Research (CMR), Apple has a 4% market share in India, with a 17% year-on-year rise in shipments in 2022.
