Did Jubin Nutyal copy Taher Shah’s Eye To Eye?
Taher Shah, a Pakistani singer, has undoubtedly rocked the music industry with his unique discography and music videos.
The musician captivated not only Pakistanis but also Indians.
Despite Shah’s absence from the scene, Bollywood including singer Jubin Nutyal remains obsessed with the Angel singer.
Following B-town’s recent plagiarization of Pakistani content, Dhoop Kinaray and Nach Punjaban, Shah’s quirky and cringy concoction Eye to Eye will be the latest song copied by Indian music producers.
So Jubin Nutyal’s #LutGaye just another copy of Nusrat sahab’s qawwali.

The news of acclaimed Indian singer Jubin Nutyal sampling Shah’s eye-catching Eye To Eye has recently gone viral.
Mayur Jumani, an Indian composer, pointed out that he believes Nutiyal’s latest song, Mast Ankhain by music label T-Series, is a sample of Shah’s song.
Much of Indian media is criticizing its own entertainment fraternity for blatantly copying Pakistani artists and not giving due credit, while others are enjoying the unity between the neighboring countries through music, at least.

Jubin Nautiyal is an Indian playback singer and live performer. In June 2022, he won the IIFA award for “Playback Singer (Male)” for the song “Raataan Lambiyan.”
He was awarded Upcoming Male Vocalist of the Year at the 8th Mirchi Music Awards for his song “Zindagi Kuch Toh Bata (Reprise)” from Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
He also won the Rising Musical Star Award at Zee Business Awards.
He has since recorded songs for films in various Indian languages, predominantly Hindi. He is signed on by T-Series.
