On Saturday, it was revealed that a foreign company would produce a film about the political career of rebellious Pakistani politician Shiekh Rashid Ahmed and his home, known as “Lal Haveli.”
According to reports, the movie’s production firm will obtain a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) before heading to Pakistan to shoot the film.
The leader of the Awami Muslim League (AML), who is also close to PTI Chairman Imran Khan, recently made news when he was detained by Islamabad Police for claiming that Zardari was involved in an assassination plan against Khan.
He remained in jail for more than two weeks before he was released by the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on bail.
Earlier in the day, a judicial magistrate in the federal capital announced that Sheikh Rashid would be indicted in the latest case on March 2.
