F-9 park rape case suspects killed, said by Islamabad police. According to the Islamabad Capital Police (ICT), the F-9 park rape suspects were killed in retaliatory fire on Thursday after they allegedly opened fire on a police checkpoint in the capital.

Two motorcycle-riding gunmen opened fire at police roadblock D-12, according to a morning tweet from the Islamabad police’s official Twitter account.

The capital police continued by saying that safety precautions ensured the safety of police officers during the incident. They also said that although both “assailants” were taken to a hospital, they eventually passed away from their injuries.

Hours later, the police confirmed in a tweet that the gunmen were identified and both of them were involved in the F-9 park rape case.

They also stated that the “attackers” were wanted for significant offences, including street crimes, and that one of the defendants had participated in a heist that resulted in a murder.

The two armed guys separated the woman and her colleague by forcing them into the surrounding bushes under threat of gunfire. They then assaulted the woman physically when she begged them to release her. According to the victim’s FIR filed at the Margala Police Station, she even offered them money to get them to release her.

The FIR said that the attackers also told the victim that if she didn’t lower her voice, they would call more of their “friends” to attack her. The victim attempted to flee, but the assailant stopped her attempts.

After raping her, the attackers returned all the things belonging to the victim and her colleague and even offered them a thousand rupees to not speak up about the incident. According to the FIR, the alleged rapists also told the victim that she should not have been in the park at that time of the night.
